Fitbit announced a recall of all of its Fitbit Force Smart Pedometers citing a small percentage of users reporting rashes and other problems around the site of their Force.
I will not be returning my Force as I have not had any problems whatsoever. I hope this does not preclude me from any offers down the road once Fitbit ‘resolves’ the current alleged problems.

I started with a Fitbit One last year but accidentally washed it in my pants pocket (several times!) and it stopped syncing with my phone/computer. Their customer support happily replaced it once. I didn’t have the gall to request another after I did it again.
I purchased the Fitbit Flex but returned it and ordered the Force as soon as it was available for order. I liked the Flex just fine but missed the info provided on the One’s display.
The Force is very nice. The clock and alarm features make it wrist worthy and its simple looks allow it to blend with whatever I’m wearing.
Still waiting for the call notification feature to be implemented…
I have been with my new employer for a couple months now. We have a somewhat limited budget and I recently learned the art of repairing some motherboards and monitors by finding and replacing faulty capacitors. Recently, we repaired 2 monitors and I will be attempting to repair a friend’s pc motherboard as soon as the ordered capacitors arrive.
